After 41 played minutes GARIBALDI FC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Ekain. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind GARIBALDI FC's goalkeeper Rene Llorian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roque Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erubiel Dubardo was the one to do the kick off. Rene Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Pandilovski in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, GARIBALDI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Constancio to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Pandilovski in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Llorian saved GARIBALDI FC from getting behind. GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Calvet in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Igor Pandilovski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Faro querandi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Lázaro Ekain fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GARIBALDI FC's protests and gave Lázaro Ekain a yellow card for diving instead. Rene Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Roque Gabon.
