In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Evaristo Rosio took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Roch Zdeb to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the match, Wisła Kraków's Ermanno Puglielli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Kismi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Federico Gil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wisła Kraków the free kick. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ermanno Puglielli sped through C. A. Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnoldo Kismi. Federico Gil made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Evaristo Rosio immediately put the ball in play. 43 minutes into the match, Ermanno Puglielli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Kismi. C. A. Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermanno Puglielli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.

Wisła Kraków's Gwidon Bambas was substituted for Mieszko Makomaski. After having played for 55 minutes, Afonso Rochedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wisła Kraków's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Rochedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermanno Puglielli in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnoldo Kismi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wisła Kraków's Ermanno Puglielli was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some careless play in the C. A. Atlanta defense, Ermanno Puglielli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Kismi. The C. A. Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Kismi should have stopped the shot. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Apolo Artizar hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Eli. After 83 minutes of play, Wisła Kraków's Ermanno Puglielli made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Kismi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hugon Falk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermanno Puglielli in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Kismi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Wisła Kraków booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Artizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of C. A.
