Anthony Bonelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Tinglöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jarl Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Mino to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Schmeissen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Mino came free, but Jarl Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Tinglöf in the 54th minute of play. Jarl Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palermo's Alfredo Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them. But to his dismay, Maximino Gonzalez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Tinglöf in the 92nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Palermo's Alfredo Joey got control of the ball when Urban Kellberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Schmeissen FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
