Amapola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Squad FC the free kick. A collision led to Amapola getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ubaldo Uzuri hit a great ball. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Segio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Green Squad FC were awarded a corner. Tadeu Cosme went to the cornerflag to take it. If Ubaldo Uzuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Uzuri was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Conrado Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Barros kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Amapola's keeper Hugo Orlando Gatti was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 85 minutes, Gonçalo Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Squad FC and the Amapola players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Green Squad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Maia to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Green Squad FC's Gonçalo Maia got a free kick in the 86th minute. Tadeu Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Barros got free with Hugo Orlando Gatti in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Amapola supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Green Squad FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Green Squad FC.
