The audience thought a goal was coming when 何威庭 got free with Ignatius Casasola in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vinícius Junior might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignatius Casasola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinícius Junior ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Torcato Rebocho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Chioreanu. AC米兰's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torcato Rebocho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 34 minutes, Laércio Rebocho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garanhão do SUL and the AC米兰 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 何威庭 in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Virgílio Teves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute Vinícius Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatius Casasola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garanhão do SUL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Garanhão do SUL were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
