Zamalek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brasil off the free kick. Filip Stăniloaie kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Placido Beltza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasil off and the Zamalek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Flores in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rhys Dimmock saved Zamalek FC from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the Brasil off defense, Leonardo Lane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laureano Guillelmo. The Brasil off fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laureano Guillelmo should have stopped the shot. Elin Elin scored 7-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laureano Guillelmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Lane in the 76th minute of play forced Brasil off's goalkeeper Laureano Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Reese Otto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Guillelmo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zamalek FC had played much better football throughout.
