In the 5th match minute, Corlee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bercan McLaughlin to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Frezza's late challenge caught a Corlee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xever Gilavert came out of the goal and Keegan McSteve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Hayes Mulvihill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Corlee booed when Udc proactive fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Frezza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bil Martyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Linares in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Corlee's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ovando Entrala was slow to take the kick. During this time Udc proactive fc's players had a chance to rest. Udc proactive fc's Ovando Entrala was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bil Martyn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A hard and well directed shot from Ovando Entrala led 26 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Corlee's Bil Martyn became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. After 30 played minutes Udc proactive fc got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Linares. After 34 played minutes Udc proactive fc got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Frezza. Pierson Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bergin Savic hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Keegan McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Corlee players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Udc proactive fc were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Keegan McSteve stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Keegan McSteve scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xever Gilavert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xever Gilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keegan McSteve in the 57th minute of play. If Keegan McSteve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Corlee manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Udc proactive fc to win.
