Sadri Battal started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Aydincik SK's Sadri Battal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Manu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cumali Tanırer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Manu having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Cumali Tanırer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 18 minutes into the match, RAPID 1923's goal looked a bit too open when Sadri Battal came free, but Valentin Manu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iurie Dimofte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ceyhan Süleymanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iosif Iorgu in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceyhan Süleymanoğlu saved Aydincik SK from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iurie Dimofte in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceyhan Süleymanoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Aydincik SK's goal looked a bit too open when Iurie Dimofte came free, but Ceyhan Süleymanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Cumali Tanırer could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Valentin Manu however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Iosif Iorgu managed to get in a good position for a shot. RAPID 1923's supporters rose to their feet, but Iosif Iorgu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceyhan Süleymanoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Iosif Iorgu came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the RAPID 1923 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Iorgu couldn't finish the play. After 47 minutes, Adam Ghinescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RAPID 1923 and the Aydincik SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Aydincik SK booed when RAPID 1923 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Ghinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iurie Dimofte to strike the kick off in the second half. Ceyhan Süleymanoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iurie Dimofte's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Cumali Tanırer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Cumali Tanırer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Valentin Manu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Aydincik SK's Mutlu Pekol got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Dimofte in the 76th minute of play forced Aydincik SK's goalkeeper Ceyhan Süleymanoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iosif Iorgu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aydincik SK's Ceyhan Süleymanoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Aydincik SK from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute of the match Șerban Tatu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ceyhan Süleymanoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to RAPID 1923 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Șerban Tatu hit a great ball. Sadri Battal charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sadri Battal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aydincik SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while RAPID 1923 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
