Tollesbury's Ndidi Ikani got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Donato Pudes fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes FC's protests and gave Donato Pudes a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 minutes of play Estudiantes FC's Donato Pudes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Donato Pudes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ndidi Ikani, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Langston Eziaghighala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Geleberto was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the game, Ify Uwen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 21st match minute, Estudiantes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Aguilera to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Tollesbury's Langston Eziaghighala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nemesio Geleberto. That made the score 2-1 after 32 minutes of play. Astor Brais kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Langston Eziaghighala in the 39th minute of play forced Estudiantes FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Geleberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Tollesbury's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Aguilera came free, but Manasseh Adejuyigbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tollesbury booed when Estudiantes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Langston Eziaghighala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tollesbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Langston Eziaghighala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Geleberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Estudiantes FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tollesbury.
