Tarraginnie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes FC the free kick. After 4 played minutes Tarraginnie got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Lester. After 5 minutes of play, Estudiantes FC's Silverio Ekialde made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabastian Mackney was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Estudiantes FC! When Hector Jenaro fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes FC's protests and gave Hector Jenaro a yellow card for diving instead. Howard Grieve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Geleberto having to interfere. The supporters of Tarraginnie booed when Estudiantes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Roano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Pudes might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sabastian Mackney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Pudes ran back to his position shaking his head. Howard Grieve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Silverio Ekialde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabastian Mackney was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Silverio Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Brais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes FC's zone, Bryan Swan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Geleberto came out of the goal and Bryan Swan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Howard Grieve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After a rather tough play, Estudiantes FC's Ezequiel Bastian got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brendon Thorne got free with Nemesio Geleberto in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes Tarraginnie got a freekick which was hit by Benedict Sayner. Sabastian Mackney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Ekialde in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Howard Grieve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarraginnie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Howard Grieve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Ekialde in the 69th minute of play forced Tarraginnie's goalkeeper Sabastian Mackney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Geleberto was a little too slow when Bryan Swan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes FC's zone, Bryan Swan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Geleberto came out of the goal and Bryan Swan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th match minute, Tarraginnie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Lester to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes FC's Astor Brais got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A hard shot by Brendon Thorne from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Nemesio Geleberto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Silverio Ekialde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bryan Swan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nemesio Geleberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Brais hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Swan in the 90th minute of play forced Estudiantes FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Geleberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estudiantes FC's Silverio Ekialde got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sabastian Mackney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Ekialde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
