Mambru Bringas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When Nkadi Akinrolabu fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tollesbury's protests and gave Nkadi Akinrolabu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tollesbury getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nkadi Akinrolabu hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ndidi Ikani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chusaca FC's Gonchan Minjaraz got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olakunle Udoka kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Langston Eziaghighala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Oton was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Chusaca FC's Sesuldo Temporal got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Tollesbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nkadi Akinrolabu to maneuver through the defense. Tome Manzarias hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Gonchan Minjaraz charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonchan Minjaraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Chusaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonchan Minjaraz. The Tollesbury supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tollesbury would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
