A collision led to Swineford Utd getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tory McMichel hit a great ball. Donn Grant's late challenge caught a Tollesbury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ndidi Ikani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tollesbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Ndidi Ikani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bec Palmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Swineford Utd fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Swineford Utd's Shannon Rutherford looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th minute Shannon Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manasseh Adejuyigbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manasseh Adejuyigbe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shannon Rutherford's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Manasseh Adejuyigbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shannon Rutherford in the 17th minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Swineford Utd's Shannon Rutherford made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manasseh Adejuyigbe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tollesbury's Manasseh Adejuyigbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shannon Rutherford in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Swineford Utd were awarded a corner. Keefe McWillie went to the cornerflag to take it. 38 minutes into the match, Tollesbury's goalkeeper Manasseh Adejuyigbe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shannon Rutherford. Uchechukwu Etafia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bec Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Langston Eziaghighala, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shannon Rutherford made a kick off. Okechukwu Ahwinahwi hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shannon Rutherford in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manasseh Adejuyigbe saved Tollesbury from getting behind. After some careless play in the Swineford Utd defense, Ndidi Ikani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bec Palmer. The Swineford Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bec Palmer should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Jonathan Perth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manasseh Adejuyigbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shannon Rutherford in the 69th minute of the match. Shannon Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Swineford Utd got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Perth. In the 76th match minute, Swineford Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tory McMichel to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Swineford Utd getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tory McMichel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Swineford Utd's Tory McMichel got a free kick in the 84th minute. Langston Eziaghighala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bec Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bec Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emelogu Mutawalle in the 91st minute of play. Despite being the better team, Tollesbury failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
