Nathaniel Burnett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Bernal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Rogério da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério da Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Bernal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Greg Drysdale was substituted for Nathaniel Burnett. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Monico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valentin Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Pimenta in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Fonseca came free, but Valentin Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Imbituba - FSCMZ booed when Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vahit Ergüç didn't get a good kick on the ball.
