After 5 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Igor Cavalera. In the 6th minute Guillermo Gimeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Sena got free with Alysson Rezende in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Guillermo Gimeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alysson Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Gimeno in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Cavalera in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck A.J. 韩文海 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Joinville Esporte Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerônimo Vergílio took the corner. The corner led Ogro F.C.'s João Barone to fire away a dangerous shot which A.J. 韩文海 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Igor Cavalera notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Joinville Esporte Clube's A.J. 韩文海. A.J. 韩文海 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Erivaldo Santos got a free kick in the 44th minute. Victor Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Alysson Rezende made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Sena made a kick off. Joinville Esporte Clube's A.J. 韩文海 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Joinville Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Joinville Esporte Clube's A.J. 韩文海 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cavalera in the 66th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Mike Mangini replaced Dan Zimmermann. Joinville Esporte Clube made a substitution. Amauri Vieira replaced Serginho Busquets. Joinville Esporte Clube's Jerry Uchiha was substituted for Victor Sena. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Uchiha in the 83rd minute of play. Alysson Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Gimeno in the 90th minute of the match. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joinville Esporte Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jerônimo Vergílio was slow to take the kick. During this time Ogro F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 95th match minute, Joinville Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Gimeno to maneuver through the defense. When Jerônimo Vergílio came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ogro F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo Vergílio couldn't finish the play. The Ogro F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
