Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis got control of the ball when Alesandro Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Lionel-Andrés Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Khan scored 2-4 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vassilis Nentakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurício Donatello scored 3-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vassilis Nentakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The S.E. Pindorama Eagles supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing S.E. Pindorama Eagles would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
