Thiago Hudson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Ugutz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Dale Dolar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rômulo Neiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Dolar in the 43rd minute of play forced Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Thiago Hudson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patricio Ugutz. The goal made the score 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dale Dolar was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Ben Zynek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mukifus FSCMZ booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bünyamin Başel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Radul Kokalov got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Herensuge Colomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mukifus FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Herensuge Colomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mukifus FSCMZ's Jozef Botto was substituted for Thiago Hudson. A well done corner resulted in Vânderson Simões drilling the ball in to score 2-2 behind Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper. The Mukifus FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Mukifus FSCMZ's Ben Zynek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rômulo Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Carrascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jorge Carrascal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rômulo Neiva was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
