Alysson Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Postelnicescu. Nilson Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Cavalera in the 46th minute. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Igor Cavalera put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nilson Peres. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Flavius Postelnicescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ITAFUT 4EVER protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Flavius Postelnicescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ITAFUT 4EVER! Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Bergdal in the 71st minute of play. Alysson Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Baggio in the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Zimmermann came free, but Nilson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodriguinho Linhares got free with Alysson Rezende in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodriguinho Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alysson Rezende stood somewhat misplaced when Rodriguinho Linhares came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 97 minute. The Ogro F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
