Guarulhas's Bret Harper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Guarulhas from getting a goal against them. Zachariasz Rakiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucjan Tworek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Sylwester Szarmach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bret Harper was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Wataha Świętokrzyska's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Baiano came free, but Zachariasz Rakiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wataha Świętokrzyska's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barnaba Zukowski in the 20th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Wataha Świętokrzyska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Szarmach to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Guarulhas's zone, Barnaba Zukowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bret Harper came out of the goal and Barnaba Zukowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucjan Tworek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bret Harper having to make a save. Sylwester Szarmach's late challenge caught a Guarulhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylwester Szarmach helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Wataha Świętokrzyska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Szarmach to maneuver through the defense. Zachariasz Rakiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Lucjan Tworek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bret Harper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sylwester Szarmach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bret Harper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcel Baiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Wataha Świętokrzyska's Zachariasz Rakiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Wataha Świętokrzyska from getting a goal against them. Wataha Świętokrzyska's Barnaba Zukowski got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hudson Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Zachariasz Rakiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Mendonça in the 59th minute of play. Barnaba Zukowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bret Harper having to make a save. In the 69th minute, Sylwester Szarmach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Przemyslaw Wierzchowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hudson Queirós missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 72 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Zachariasz Rakiewicz right hand side. 74 minutes into the match, Barnaba Zukowski notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Guarulhas's Bret Harper. Bret Harper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bret Harper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucjan Tworek's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Konrad Karanewski notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Guarulhas's Bret Harper. Bret Harper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 84 minutes, Vitório de Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guarulhas and the Wataha Świętokrzyska players grew even worse after the yellow card. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guarulhas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Barnaba Zukowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Wataha Świętokrzyska's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Wataha Świętokrzyska's corner Barnaba Zukowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bret Harper quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Barnaba Zukowski put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bret Harper. Bret Harper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Zukowski in the 91st minute of play. Bret Harper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Zukowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
