Jim Martin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang De in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Eket BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang De came free, but Jim Martin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Martin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jiang De's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Jiang De might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Martin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiang De ran back to his position shaking his head. Jim Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang De, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Nicklas Josefsson in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gremio Viana's Albi Koka. Jim Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Påk in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Eket BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang De came free, but Jim Martin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jiang De had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jiang De sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eket BK's Jim Martin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang De in the 29th minute of play. Jiang De might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Martin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiang De ran back to his position shaking his head. Jim Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang De, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Nicklas Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Jiang De ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jim Martin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jiang De sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute Jiang De shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Martin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jiang De made a kick off. Gremio Viana's Albi Koka managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nicklas Josefsson in the 56 minute of the game. Jim Martin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang De, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiang De received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jim Martin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Carlos Luna replaced Jiang De. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Carlos Luna put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jim Martin. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Jim Martin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Luna got free with Jim Martin in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tony Påk came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Gremio Viana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Påk couldn't finish the play. Nicklas Josefsson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eket BK's goalkeeper Jim Martin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gremio Viana's Mohamed Ali Bomba got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Carlos Luna struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jim Martin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gremio Viana. Carlos Luna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eket BK's Jim Martin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Eket BK from getting a goal against them. Jim Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Luna in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Dan Vennersten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Fiúza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gremio Viana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
