Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ken Van Den Hout in the 8th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ken Van Den Hout got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sem Titulescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Egon Lepisk took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sem Titulescu to make any attempt to save it. 15 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Herrera came free, but Sem Titulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Cordarin kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Flávio Meirelles's late challenge caught a Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio Meirelles helped the player get up and apologised. But to his dismay, Egon Lepisk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Treviño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Sem Titulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rambo Durán in the 35th minute of the match. Flamengo's Sem Titulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Cordarin during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Ken Van Den Hout tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Renato Fernandes lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Flamengo's Renato Fernandes got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Luís Fabiano Hoffmann made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Treviño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fabiano Hoffmann in the 51st minute. But to his dismay, Georg Termander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Andreas Hedström was substituted for Tomás Herrera. The throw-in from Ken Van Den Hout in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Flamengo's Flávio Meirelles. In the 77th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Egon Lepisk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sem Titulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flamengo's Sem Titulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rambo Durán in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Andreas Hedström suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Faustão Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo's protests and gave Faustão Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC made a substitution. Julio Ramírez replaced Andreas Hedström. The supporters of Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flamengo's Sem Titulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Lepisk in the 89th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
