The shot was a little too simple and Damian Ştiopul could save by the left post. If Vítor Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Tostão Motta put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Damian Ştiopul. A collision led to SSC Special Eleven getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bruno Andreoli hit a great ball. Damian Ştiopul made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ruy Melo sent off a good shot on target. Alexandre Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Romanese, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Alfonso Mauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Mauro scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandre Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Ştiopul was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Horacio Sayveon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horacio Sayveon really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. SSC Special Eleven's Damian Ştiopul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Sayveon in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, SSC Special Eleven's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Sayveon came free, but Damian Ştiopul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SSC Special Eleven's goalkeeper Damian Ştiopul, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 34 minutes SSC Special Eleven's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serginho Amorim who took care of the corner kick. Damian Ştiopul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Sayveon in the 39th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SSC Special Eleven defense, Horacio Sayveon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Ştiopul. The SSC Special Eleven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Ştiopul should have stopped the shot. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Ruy Melo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Concetto Barberio in the 45 minute of the game. Damian Ştiopul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Sayveon in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Alfredo Esposito made the kick off in the second half. Damian Ştiopul came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Horacio Sayveon. But to his dismay, Horacio Sayveon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 64 minutes into the match, SSC Special Eleven's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Sayveon came free, but Damian Ştiopul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Horacio Sayveon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Ştiopul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Horacio Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Esposito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Alexandre Brasil made a huge save. After 77 minutes SSC Special Eleven's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serginho Amorim who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SSC Special Eleven's goalie and right to Vítor Vieira. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SSC Special Eleven's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 79 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Horacio Sayveon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Ştiopul narrowly saved just below the crossbar. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after SSC Special Eleven's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serginho Amorim took the corner. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Serginho Amorim hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Andreoli got free with Alexandre Brasil in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Vítor Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Alfredo Esposito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SSC Special Eleven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Esposito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans cheered their team off the field, for while SSC Special Eleven had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
