An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Waselenczuk in the 7th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leukothoe Sakelaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leukothoe Sakelaris took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michal Gniech. Michal Gniech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Kirby in the 18th minute of the match. Osvaldo Euloxu scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michal Gniech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Robert Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Leukothoe Sakelaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leukothoe Sakelaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chelmza Team's Michal Gniech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaakko Ramstadius in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Christos Triantafyllou made a precise shot to the right of Michal Gniech. Chelmza Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Chelmza Team booed when Granate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Euloxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Jaraczeski came free, but Jonathan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chelmza Team's Michal Gniech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Triantafyllou in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christos Triantafyllou got free with Michal Gniech in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michal Gniech stood somewhat misplaced when Christos Triantafyllou came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Chelmza Team's Michal Gniech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Chelmza Team from getting a goal against them. If Leukothoe Sakelaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Granate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chelmza Team throughout the match.
