Gustaw Fafinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egbert Matthijs in the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Gianluca Balla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamburg Fighters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gianluca Balla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Egbert Matthijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Foeke Wisgerhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Bocu in the 18th minute of the match. The Hamburg Fighters fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Hamburg Fighters's Dinu Bocu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 21st minute, Gianni Balla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gianluca Balla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Foeke Wisgerhof made a huge save. Foeke Wisgerhof took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Bocu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Foeke Wisgerhof was a little too slow when Gianni Balla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 36th minute Dinu Bocu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Foeke Wisgerhof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 3-1 became the score in the 40th minute when Gianni Balla elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Hamburg Fighters's Foeke Wisgerhof threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dinu Bocu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jochem Rijkaard made the kick off in the second half. Lukas Blaauwgeers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustaw Fafinski having to make a save. Gustaw Fafinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetlozar Chukovski in the 52nd minute of play. Foeke Wisgerhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Balla, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hamburg Fighters fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Lukas Blaauwgeers did an outstanding performance 70 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-2 to the right of an irritated Gustaw Fafinski in the goal. Gustaw Fafinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egbert Matthijs in the 79th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Gianni Balla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Foeke Wisgerhof was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Foeke Wisgerhof stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinu Bocu's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Dukaton f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Balla came free, but Foeke Wisgerhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gianluca Balla took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Foeke Wisgerhof. Foeke Wisgerhof dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hamburg Fighters fully deserved thier win.
