Ştefan Magheran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Ceberiche when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Romão Mourato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lionel-Andrés Messi took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Ceberiche. Ricardo Ceberiche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Vassilis Nentakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ortiz Apellaniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Frits van Gaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ceberiche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romão Mourato in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 32nd minute of play forced Roneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Ricardo Ceberiche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vassilis Nentakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Mourato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute of the match S.E. Pindorama Eagles got a corner. Roneros F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lionel-Andrés Messi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Romão Mourato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vassilis Nentakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ştefan Magheran to make the kick off. Ortiz Apellaniz took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vassilis Nentakis. Vassilis Nentakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 60th match minute, S.E. Pindorama Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Magheran to maneuver through the defense. Roneros F.C. made a substitution. Jiang Sha replaced Washington Piedrahita. After a rather tough play, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Rodrigo Mafra got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute, Witomir Jestrimski made a precise shot to the right of Vassilis Nentakis. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
