Prospero Donzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Alberto Zañartu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. La Academia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Tomporowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robby Woody made a kick off. Prospero Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Alberto Zañartu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Virgilio Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector-Luis Palomar came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iwan Grocholski could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Alberto Zañartu in the 75th minute of play forced SuperFuerza TM's goalkeeper Prospero Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector-Luis Palomar in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Grocholski saved La Academia from getting behind. In the 78th minute of the match SuperFuerza TM got a corner. La Academia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maarten Stubbe ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on SuperFuerza TM's corner Maarten Stubbe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iwan Grocholski quite easily take care of the ball. Robby Woody sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
