Janusze Futbolu's Çağdaş Quaresma got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Sidney Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Caniglia. Sidney Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Caniglia in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Çağdaş Quaresma hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, Janusze Futbolu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Devlet Toper to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Pimenta in the 76th minute of play forced Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Janusze Futbolu's Claudio Caniglia got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 温浩康 made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rogério da Silva.
