Jacobo Mendiko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Borges's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Baldomero Hermon got a free kick in the 36th minute. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Mainer, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Ionuț Hârlău quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jan Falkiewicz, made in the 46th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Mainer in the 48th minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Hansjörg Wastl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Hârlău. Santiago Sosa kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Franco Milazzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
