Herminio Loren scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ediberto Righi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ediberto Righi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteve Palben's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Inocencio Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Enrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Progreso Tres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Marajda to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Progreso Tres booed when lןןl La Coconeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Maldonado didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Loren in the 26th minute of play forced lןןl La Coconeta's goalkeeper Ediberto Righi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evtim Chokoev made a great header on Progreso Tres's corner, it was just that lןןl La Coconeta's Ediberto Righi managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteve Palben stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, lןןl La Coconeta's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Palben came free, but Ediberto Righi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The coaching staff of Progreso Tres protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gaudencio Aurken had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Progreso Tres getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gaudencio Aurken hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Progreso Tres's goalkeeper Inocencio Oinatz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Sanguinetti. The audience was convinced that Esteve Palben's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ediberto Righi was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Inocencio Oinatz came out and tried to block the shot, but Josemir Lujambio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, lןןl La Coconeta's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Palben came free, but Ediberto Righi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Josemir Lujambio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Oinatz. Progreso Tres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josemir Lujambio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Progreso Tres's Inocencio Oinatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Progreso Tres from getting a goal against them. Esteve Palben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, lןןl La Coconeta's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Palben came free, but Ediberto Righi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Palben blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ediberto Righi having to make a save. Ediberto Righi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Palben in the 95th minute of the match. lןןl La Coconeta were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
