Anier Ted started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Pinto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Jax in the 13th minute of play forced Aston Birra F.C.'s goalkeeper Luciano Sanchez-Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Lastur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anier Ted went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Jax in the 27th minute of play. GERLIROJO Ψ were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Aston Birra F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolas Salomon took the corner. Genaro Tauro made a great header on GERLIROJO Ψ's corner, it was just that Aston Birra F.C.'s Luciano Sanchez-Garcia managed to reach the ball for a save. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Tauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GERLIROJO Ψ's Genaro Tauro got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aston Birra F.C.'s goalkeeper Luciano Sanchez-Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Aston Birra F.C.'s Luciano Sanchez-Garcia got control of the ball when Aquilino Ihintza tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 minutes, Anier Ted made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Ibañez in the 93rd minute of play. Aston Birra F.C. made a substitution. Simon Blasi replaced Anier Ted. Epifanio Ibañez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luciano Sanchez-Garcia having to make a save. Epifanio Ibañez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luciano Sanchez-Garcia firmly grabbed it by the left post. The score was 2-2 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Aston Birra F.C.'s Simon Blasi that got to make the kick off. After 105 played minutes Aston Birra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rüknettin Ruşen. Epifanio Ibañez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Sanchez-Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 107th minute of play. If Epifanio Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 113th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Blasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 116th minute. With the score at 2-2, the referee blew for the end of the half. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Epifanio Ibañez took the kick off. 121 minutes into the match, Epifanio Ibañez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Sanchez-Garcia. Aston Birra F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Epifanio Ibañez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Chants of GERLIROJO Ψ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Aston Birra F.C. had held the ball for most of the match.
