Fausto Nisio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomás Romo. After a defensive mix-up in RED DEVIL's zone, Cecilio Efraim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Cafer Konuralp came out of the goal and Cecilio Efraim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Cafer Konuralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aku Ylönen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ruperto Incendio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to phoinix fc getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Anibal Gaztea hit a great ball. Tomás Romo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Nisio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Ruperto Incendio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. phoinix fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RED DEVIL the free kick. RED DEVIL's Dalmacio Etxeberri was substituted for Cosme Kismi. In the 36th match minute, phoinix fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Incendio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, phoinix fc's Fausto Nisio got control of the ball when Ruben Ubarna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Barreiros did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Fausto Nisio 40 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Barreiros was the one to do the kick off. When Fernando Barreiros came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the RED DEVIL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Barreiros couldn't finish the play. In the 54th match minute, phoinix fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Quinito to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Barreiros in the 55th minute of play forced phoinix fc's goalkeeper Fausto Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Nisio came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by RED DEVIL's Ruben Ubarna. But to his dismay, Ruben Ubarna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 65th minute, phoinix fc's José Gómez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed José Gómez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of phoinix fc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and José Gómez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of phoinix fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RED DEVIL:s goal. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for RED DEVIL. Tomás Romo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fausto Nisio. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Barreiros in the 71st minute of play forced phoinix fc's goalkeeper Fausto Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Fernando Barreiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RED DEVIL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Fausto Nisio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Romo in the 83rd minute of play.
