If Roy Makaay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nenko Reza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafim Malta in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Roy Makaay made a precise shot to the right of Liu Xing Qiang. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Adalberto Ortiz in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Eduardo Angulo. Villaverde Celeste Clube were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guo Ao took the corner. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Edmund Wawrukiewicz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erwin Jadamowitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Liu Xing Qiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Makaay in the 91st minute of play. Adalberto Ortiz made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Edmund Wawrukiewicz. There was no doubt that Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC were the better team. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
