The referee showed Bartolo De Mitri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Maragassume AD - CIMZ booed when Nippur de Lagash 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo De Mitri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Ronaldão Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Sanches came free, but Tito Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hernan Lehen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cauan de Senna was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, Maragassume AD - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Tande to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Casimiro Cordarell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauan de Senna. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimiro Cordarell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ronaldão Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tito Chayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Cauan de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Cordarell in the 23rd minute of play. Tito Chayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldão Sanches's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. If Israel Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tito Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Amaral in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Maragassume AD - CIMZ booed when Nippur de Lagash 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo De Mitri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's attentive Ben Spierenburg managed to snatch the ball when Casimiro Cordarell made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Râznicu in the 35th minute of play forced Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Tito Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin Navarro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edmundo Tande, made in the 39th minute of the game. Aníbal Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tito Chayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Reynaldo De Mitri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Maragassume AD - CIMZ booed when Nippur de Lagash 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino De Mitri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Ronaldão Sanches dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 45 played minutes Nippur de Lagash 2 got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Lehen. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldão Sanches to make the kick off. Tito Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nippur de Lagash 2's Hernan Lehen in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Edmundo Tande made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin Navarro. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goalkeeper Cauan de Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tito Chayo came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Ronaldão Sanches. But to his dismay, Ronaldão Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Nippur de Lagash 2's Segundo Oro was substituted for Hernan Lehen. Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Amaral in the 88th minute of play. Casimiro Cordarell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cauan de Senna firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Maragassume AD - CIMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nippur de Lagash 2 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
