After a defensive mix-up in STORM's zone, Lothar Schorling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Sengrat came out of the goal and Lothar Schorling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, STORM's goalkeeper Antonio Sengrat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lothar Schorling. Antonio Sengrat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricart Mendiguren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Köhler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Lavrentev in the 15th minute of the match. Lars Köhler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Varlamov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Köhler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Varlamov, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Lothar Schorling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Librado got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Grigoriy Agapov. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lothar Schorling in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Sengrat saved STORM from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Lavrentev was the one to do the kick off. After 81 minutes STORM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfred Wieczorek who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Buffalo Bills's Adalbert Jantzen to a score. 1-1 in the 82nd minute. Antonio Sengrat came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Bills's Wyatt Snow. But to his dismay, Wyatt Snow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wyatt Snow in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Sengrat saved STORM from getting behind. Lars Köhler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirill Gerasimchuk in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kirill Gerasimchuk in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Köhler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lars Köhler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigoriy Agapov in the 90th minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Denis Lavrentev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STORM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Lavrentev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by STORM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfred Wieczorek was slow to take the kick. During this time Buffalo Bills's players had a chance to rest. Alfred Wieczorek made a great header on Buffalo Bills's corner, it was just that STORM's Antonio Sengrat managed to reach the ball for a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the STORM players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Buffalo Bills.
