Cafu Pimenta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Borys Poreda made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Velez's goal looked a bit too open when Naci Kac came free, but Fulgencio Rioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naci Kac in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Rioja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Velez getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Genaro Txurio hit a great ball. After 34 minutes Velez's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Naci Kac who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Naci Kac got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fulgencio Rioja quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 42ndth minute of the game Naci Kac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velez's Fulgencio Rioja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 46 minutes, Jakub Lukowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Victoria Toruń and the Velez players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Victoria Toruń got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Lukowski. If Cafu Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Fulgencio Rioja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naci Kac's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naci Kac in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Rioja saved Velez from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Ferman in the 63rd minute of play forced Victoria Toruń's goalkeeper Borys Poreda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Victoria Toruń's Naci Kac in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velez's goalie prevented a goal. Fulgencio Rioja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Lukowski in the 70th minute of the match. Burt Burachek kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Naci Kac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velez's Fulgencio Rioja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Victoria Toruń's Naci Kac in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velez's goalie prevented a goal. Naci Kac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fulgencio Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naci Kac who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Fulgencio Rioja when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Victoria Toruń's Naci Kac was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 82nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Victoria Toruń's Lóránd Szarka was substituted for Arkadiusz Piglowski. Velez's Fulgencio Rioja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Velez from getting a goal against them. Velez were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Victoria Toruń to leave the ground with a draw.
