In the 4th minute of the match Victoria Toruń got a corner. Velez's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Naci Kac ran over to the corner to take the kick. Naci Kac made a great header on Victoria Toruń's corner, it was just that Velez's Fulgencio Rioja managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Ferman got free with Borys Poreda in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Borys Poreda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Pimenta in the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Jakub Lukowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Rioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoria Toruń were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Velez's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Naci Kac took the corner. Jedrzej Tomaka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Borys Poreda made a huge save. Borys Poreda made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Esteban Ferman sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naci Kac in the 31st minute of play forced Velez's goalkeeper Fulgencio Rioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Velez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Txurio to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Zhu Yan Quan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Rioja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naci Kac, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Naci Kac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velez's Fulgencio Rioja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Velez's zone, Naci Kac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Rioja came out of the goal and Naci Kac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Borys Poreda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Naci Kac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fulgencio Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Naci Kac made the kick off in the second half. Velez's Fulgencio Rioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naci Kac in the 53rd minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Victoria Toruń's Naci Kac sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Rioja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albertino Lemos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ture Springfält got free with Fulgencio Rioja in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Borys Poreda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Ferman in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Ferman in the 72nd minute of play forced Victoria Toruń's goalkeeper Borys Poreda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Velez's Fulgencio Rioja got control of the ball when Naci Kac tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, Victoria Toruń's Naci Kac made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fulgencio Rioja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victoria Toruń's Lóránd Szarka was substituted for Arkadiusz Piglowski. Victoria Toruń's Benedykt Kluska was substituted for Ture Springfält. 88 minutes into the match, Victoria Toruń's Zhu Yan Quan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Rioja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naci Kac in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Rioja saved Velez from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Victoria Toruń's Naci Kac slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fulgencio Rioja. That made the score 0-3 after 92 minutes of play. 96 minutes into the game, Naci Kac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Fulgencio Rioja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Velez supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Victoria Toruń's performance. The match ended with a win for Victoria Toruń.
