Akis Sarafis came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by CRUZ DEL SUR's Pan Lin Zhen. But to his dismay, Pan Lin Zhen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pan Lin Zhen to strike the kick off in the second half. Pan Lin Zhen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Akis Sarafis made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's Bob Marley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zachariasz Dudkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AFC Ajax's Miltos Margaritidis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zachariasz Dudkowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when AFC Ajax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omiros Fasoulas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Markos Seremetidis in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zachariasz Dudkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91stth minute of the game Michelangelo Merganiotis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CRUZ DEL SUR's Zachariasz Dudkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AFC Ajax's Akis Sarafis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Estefan in the 93rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Kallergis during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, AFC Ajax's Thomas Kallergis got a free kick in the 94th minute. Akis Sarafis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Estefan in the 95th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
