Boizão Club do Recife's Kiko Paes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Higinio Ostots in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Higinio Ostots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veniamin Shashkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Ronaldo de Toledo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Ostots. Malvinas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo de Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Boizão Club do Recife's Veniamin Shashkov got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Malvinas getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Damian Chesus hit a great ball. Anibal Ortzi kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Higinio Ostots stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Veniamin Shashkov's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
