Spectators: 424 (Terracing: 325, Seating: 99, VIP seats: 0) Alicante FC's Kiko Castelao started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Azulgrana 81's zone, Enol Soto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Peyo came out of the goal and Enol Soto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Azulgrana 81 booed when Alicante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aintza Molina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julián Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şentürk Temel, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Benino in the 11th minute of play forced Alicante FC's goalkeeper Julián Aballe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ireno Quesada hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Albert Rauvoe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Azulgrana 81 were awarded a corner. Juliusz Sitko went to the cornerflag to take it. Azulgrana 81's Juliusz Sitko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julián Aballe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 30th minute of the match, Enol Soto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cirilo Peyo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julián Aballe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şentürk Temel went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute, Enol Soto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Alicante FC's Cirilo Peyo threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enol Soto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Şentürk Temel sped through Alicante FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julián Aballe. Enol Soto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cirilo Peyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Şentürk Temel made the kick off in the second half. Julián Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şentürk Temel in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute Şentürk Temel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julián Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kiko Castelao fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alicante FC's protests and gave Kiko Castelao a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Alicante FC got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Castelao. Julián Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Rauvoe in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Azulgrana 81 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Benino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julián Aballe having to make a save. After 68 played minutes Alicante FC got a freekick which was hit by Aintza Molina. In the 72nd match minute, Alicante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ireno Quesada to maneuver through the defense. Cirilo Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enol Soto in the 75th minute of play. Şentürk Temel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Alicante FC defense, Albert Rauvoe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julián Aballe. The Alicante FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julián Aballe should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Alicante FC's goalkeeper Julián Aballe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Benino. Julián Aballe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Benino in the 91st minute.
