Putut Kawuri might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aban Tanonaka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Putut Kawuri ran back to his position shaking his head. Tarsan Suartama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joni Goeslaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Asrin Sandiaji was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sentinel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JEMBer UTara the free kick. The supporters of JEMBer UTara booed when Sentinel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asrin Sandiaji didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Indiana Anhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Joni Goeslaw's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tarsan Suartama was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. JEMBer UTara's Indiana Anhar got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. JEMBer UTara's Makan Makan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aban Tanonaka but with some difficulty. In the 36th match minute, Sentinel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harun Heryuwono to maneuver through the defense. Sentinel's Aban Tanonaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Anhar in the 38th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Putut Kawuri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Syauqi Kunaefi's late challenge caught a JEMBer UTara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Syauqi Kunaefi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sentinel's Syauqi Kunaefi got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Aban Tanonaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Putut Kawuri in the 54th minute of the match. Aban Tanonaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Putut Kawuri in the 55th minute of play. JEMBer UTara's Tarsan Suartama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brama Harmoko in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Sentinel booed when JEMBer UTara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thoyib Sianipar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joni Goeslaw's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Tarsan Suartama skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. JEMBer UTara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haddad Leimena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igus Ardiansyah hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Tarsan Suartama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harun Heryuwono in the 77th minute of the match. After 78 minutes JEMBer UTara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harun Heryuwono who took care of the corner kick. If Harun Heryuwono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Tarsan Suartama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joni Goeslaw. Brama Harmoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarsan Suartama having to interfere. Thoyib Sianipar hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With his leg Tarsan Suartama managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Sentinel's Joni Goeslaw fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Harun Heryuwono struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Tarsan Suartama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sentinel.
