In the 21st minute Carlos Alberto Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Käller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Errando in the 51st minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kind of Blue's zone, Carlos Alberto Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Galle came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kind of Blue's Östen Högman was substituted for Zhuo Ke Le. Wilhelm Galle came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk. But to his dismay, Peep Pronk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Karl-Axel Kielstedt replaced Matias Porfiro. After 75 minutes of play, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Bomba was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilhelm Galle. Wilhelm Galle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Kind of Blue were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
