After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Eliézer de Sousa got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of de belletrekkers booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peep Pronk ran back to his position shaking his head. Peep Pronk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but De-la-Cruz de Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Peep Pronk took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised De-la-Cruz de Alcântara. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 45 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that De-la-Cruz de Alcântara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Peep Pronk came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the AC LeX Luthor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peep Pronk couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Peep Pronk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but De-la-Cruz de Alcântara made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind De-la-Cruz de Alcântara. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3.
