The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Belo Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. If Karol Panasewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Afşar Uçuk went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Blue Mountain State's George Popescu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Ricardo Kaká had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurino Serena. A.D. Alcorcón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Kaká was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Blue Mountain State had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
