But to his dismay, Cosme Larpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Darrigrande in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ got a corner. Golden Lions FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johnathan Douglas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Roberto Layton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 31st minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Jordi Carces in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Golden Lions FC's Arne Tönnberg. Carlo Darrigrande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlo Darrigrande to strike the kick off in the second half.
