Afşar Uçuk was slow to take the kick. During this time Blue Mountain State's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Afşar Uçuk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilhelm Galle quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 15th minute Nicolas De la Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kind of Blue's Anastasios Pallini was substituted for Jonny Lagerberg. In the 19th minute, Karol Panasewicz made a precise shot to the right of Wilhelm Galle. Kind of Blue's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Robin Sharma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Käller went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Robin Sharma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Panasewicz in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when Kind of Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Oskar Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes of play, Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilhelm Galle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kind of Blue's Zhuo Ke Le got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kind of Blue made a substitution. Östen Högman replaced Zhuo Ke Le. Robin Sharma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Högman in the 79th minute of the match. After 81 minutes Blue Mountain State's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joacim Hansson who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Joacim Hansson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robin Sharma quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kind of Blue's attentive Sven-Oskar Carlsson managed to snatch the ball when Manuel Baican made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. After having played for 85 minutes, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Käller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lionel-Andrés Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilhelm Galle was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Käller came free, but Robin Sharma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilhelm Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Kind of Blue players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Blue Mountain State from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
