After recieving a nice pass, Vancouver Reds's Amédée Gillis tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 37thth minute of the game Macnelly Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Capixaba's Murilo da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute Guo Ke Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Fesik kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's Guo Ke Peng got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The Atlético Capixaba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vancouver Reds were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
