Andrzej Juskowiak scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Germano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Andrzej Juskowiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alper Benli, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 43rd minute, Alper Benli made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Remigio Erramu's late challenge caught a WZG Sandomierz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Erramu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Remigio Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrzej Juskowiak was the one to do the kick off. WZG Sandomierz's Constantin Mudura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Abreu in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrzej Juskowiak in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Germano saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Constantin Mudura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu got a free kick in the 58th minute. Eustaquio Gerazan charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Gerazan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
