A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Fabio Artaldo hit a great ball. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Robert Lewandowski sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Lewandowski in the 10th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Freezerpool FC's Robert Lewandowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Germano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Lewandowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Germano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Jaizki's late challenge caught a Freezerpool FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Jaizki helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Freezerpool FC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes in the game, Robert Lewandowski dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Lucio Cebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Casco. In the 40th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Caradaro to maneuver through the defense. Freezerpool FC's Matias Casco got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustaquio Jaizki to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Benigno Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Lewandowski came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Deilmison Oblak. That made the score 0-1 after 53 minutes of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Germano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Henry went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Segundo Casco hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Deilmison Oblak acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Remigio Erramu. 94 minutes into the match, Aristides Henry notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano. Carlos Germano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Freezerpool FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Atlético Atlanta for a fine match.
