Lars Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel Oakley in the 46th minute of the match. Jan Lindström came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by spikarna's Sven Nordkvist. But to his dismay, Sven Nordkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radamel Oakley made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Bergström came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Hård to maneuver through the defense. Jan Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Hård, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Radamel Oakley came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Surahammar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radamel Oakley couldn't finish the play. Surahammar's Folke Skröder was substituted for Vincent Benett. Surahammar's Zlatan Lion was substituted for Toninho Lara. Surahammar made a substitution. Victor Santxol replaced Radamel Oakley. The throw-in from Rickard Alefors in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Surahammar's Mark Brovall. In the 72nd minute Victor Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Kodzhabashev made a great header on Surahammar's corner, it was just that spikarna's Lars Norberg managed to reach the ball for a save. If Atakan Pepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Santxol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lars Norberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Santxol slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Victor Santxol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Norberg was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Victor Santxol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Lars Norberg made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Victor Santxol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lars Norberg. The goal made the score 2-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Victor Santxol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lars Norberg. That made the score 2-7 in the 93 minute of play. Victor Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Surahammar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
