Adrian Kodzhabashev went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Surahammar's corner Adrian Kodzhabashev fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcus Ekrot quite easily take care of the ball. Leonardo Trancoso scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Lindström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Surahammar's Jan Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Hermansson in the 32nd minute of play. Jan Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mutumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Lindström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vykans Vikingar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Indalecio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radamel Oakley to make the kick off. Vincent Benett might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Ekrot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vincent Benett ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hugo Eden hit a great ball. If Radamel Oakley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Oakley, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radamel Oakley in the 57th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Oakley, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Santxol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Haglund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan Lindström. Bengt-Arne Haglund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Adrian Kodzhabashev hit a great ball. Victor Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Santxol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Vykans Vikingar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Surahammar throughout the match.
