The supporters of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Van Dijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aurel Crivoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Santxol in the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Victor Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Crivoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Santxol in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurel Crivoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Victor Santxol sped through Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aurel Crivoi. Surahammar's Jan Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Hermansson in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Offendahl came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Surahammar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK.
